A Short Trip to Dubai - Part II

On the second day and on the way to the Gold Souk.

Literally.. Golds everywhere.

Lots of tourists took picture with this one. So much gold in one picture XD

Since some of us are looking for Pashmina and Shirts for souvenirs, so here we are..

The shopkeeper literally forced me to try this just because the size fits me just right.

This is the closer look.

Shirt is called kandura/kondura, and headpiece called ghutrah/keffiyeh/kufiya.

And here we are in front of the Burj Khalifa - Tallest building in the world.

At the top (124th & 125th Floor) so we arrived at the 125th floor and go down a floor later. as soon as we arrived, they started to take a picture for you. You can decide to keep the picture or not (you need to pay for it). and i decided not to.

These are some pictures i took. Since the sun is bright almost everyday, some of the pictures got some reflection. it only rains arround 7 times a year here.

Thats the observation deck on the 124th floor.

The first building there is the one caught on fire earlier this year on the newyear event.

And its Free Wifi on the entire building. Stay Connected.

On the first floor is a Mall, Dubai Mall.

And they have aquarium there. what amaze me is that the glass is 70cm thick. WOW

And they do have Ice Rink too.

And here i am waiting for the Water fountain show. at 6PM everyday. and its a short show. only last for arround 3 minutes. look at the crowd.

The building on the right is the one that caught fire earlier this year. and this hotel is super expensive on newyear since its in front of Burj Khalifa and they have firework show on newyear.
